"Midyeci Ahmet" brand is the story of a little boy who started his life struggle in 1992 by selling mussels with a mobile portable stall on his shoulders. "Midyeci Ahmet", which is the first name that comes to mind upon saying Stuffed Mussels in Turkey, also known as "Lord of Mussels", now takes firm steps forward to become a global brand."
His small portable stall turned into a shop in Balık Pazarı in time, and despite there was no promotion and advertising, "Midyeci Ahmet" brand achieved to become the first name that comes to mind upon saying stuffed mussels first in Istanbul and then all over Turkey as an urban legend. He changed the perception that reliable, healthy and good mussels could only be eaten in luxury and expensive restaurants in Turkey, as in all the world, and made mussel an easily-accessed, 100% organic, healthy and tasty street fast food that suits to the budget of everyone.
As of 2018, "Midyeci Ahmet" decided to realize his childhood dream and started having branches with franchise method to serve his unique tastes not only to those coming to his only branch in Beşiktaş but also to everyone from Istanbul and other cities in Anatolia. After the frequent franchise requests, he first opened his franchise in Tuzla and then in Çengelköy and kept on branding by opening a branch in Ankara lastly.
With such branching steps, the adventure that started on a small portable stall led it to become a giant food brand that determines its standards in its field with 100% Turkish capital and 4 branches.
"Midyeci Ahmet" brand, currently employing over 300 people, will open a new 2000 m2 factory in Thessaloniki, Greece in addition to the one in İstanbul and triple its production capacity. With the capacity increase, Midyeci Ahmetaims to reach a total of 20 branches both in Turkey and abroad by the end of 2020. Serving about 75% of all stuffed mussels sold in Turkey to his customers, "Midyeci Ahmet" plans to reach a turnover of 100 Million TL with all of its branches until the end of 2020.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE FRANCHISE BRANCH INVESTORS:
Parallel to the Midyeci Ahmet brand vision, you should be an investor who thinks that the most delicious food in the world is stuffed mussels just like we do and who has a dynamic, energetic spirit, ambition to succeed and the financial resources required for the investment.
Areas with busy pedestrian and vehicle traffic and suitable main roads are among the features necessary for the restaurant to be opened.
We have prepared two different concepts for the franchise of our “Midyeci Ahmet“ brand.
Midyeci Ahmet (Tradesman): Stuffed Mussel Only
10-year trademark register: Total area excluding the storage should be maximum 50 m2 and the facade width to the road should be maximum of 3 meters. 5% loyalty is collected over the monthly net turnover.
The workplace should be on the ground floor. Cold storage area should be at least 6 m2.
Midyeci Ahmet (With frying pan): Stuffed Mussel and Kokoreç
10-year trademark register: Total area of the excluding the storage should be minimum of 100m2 and the facade width to the road should be a minimum of 4 meters. 5% loyalty is collected over the monthly net turnover.
The workplace should be on the ground floor. Cold storage area should be at least 20 m2.
